Using Methods andTechniques of Creative Drama Education to Understanding of Literary Texts

This diploma thesis concerns possibilities of using drama methods and techniques for understanding of literary texts within primary school education, with special emphasis on supporting pupils' reading. In its first theoretical part the basic terms are defined, such as literature, reading and their importance for a human; Literary Education and Drama Education (including its methods) and their possible meetings in the educational process. Furthermore, the theoretical part deals with use of a literary text as a theme for a preparation for creative drama lessons, including drama structuring. The practical part is focused on three specific proposals for drama lessons with using literary texts. Two of them were carried out and evaluated with respect to the predetermined goals. It affirms that the application of drama methods and techniques within classes of literature and reading is justified. Paths of child - the reciter at primary school

The theoretical part of the diploma is focused on the analysis of particular areas and concepts related to children's recitation regarding the first level of primary school. The first half of the practical part looks into primal motivation resulting into the decision to dedicate oneself to recitation, as well as the method of text selection by children and their reasons for preference of poetry to prose. The method of controlled interview was used for researching child reciters at the first level of primary school. The same method was applied to research methods of management, preparation and evaluation of children's reciter by adults who work with and assess the reciter. The second half of the practical part offers and describes examples of both group and individual approaches to a particular text.
Developing the speech of a child reciter and the possibilities of his presenting

The thesis deals with a child - the reciter and looks into ways of recitation. The aim of the thesis is to describe these ways and to map which of them vote children - the reciters and their reciter's guides the most often. The first theoretical part is focused on explanation of basic notions that bind to child recitation and then to analyzing particular phases of recitation process. The second research part is divided into three parts according to used research methods. Via observation method was detected what is the situation on recitation competitions and exhibitions especially within Dětská scéna competition. Survey and structured interwievs were picked for detection of ways of working with children - the reciters.
The Approach to the Literary Text in Secondary School (Methodological Contribution of Přemysl Blažíček)

The present thesis deals with a possible approach to the literary text in the teaching of literature in secondary school. It discusses the choice of the literary text, its reading, interpretation and meaning. The whole approach is demonstrated on Cormac McCarthy's novel The Road; the theoretical framework of the thesis is provided by Přemysl Blažíček's texts. The thesis aims to figure out whether Blažíček's literary thought is as viable and useful in the pedagogical process as it is in literary criticism and theory.

Literary text in courses of french as a foreign language

Literary text in courses of french as a foreign language This graduation theses (thesis) researches the use of artistic text in the textbooks for French as a foreign language. It monitors both its quantitative and qualitative developments linked with increasing language level of students and incorporated exercises. It is concentrated on the corpus of textbooks available on the Czech market of which it analyzes the five French and two Czech textbooks that represent the didactic production from the 90th of the 20th century to the present. The essential part of this work is to create a typology of accompanying activities of artistic texts. The goal is to compare the results obtained by analyzing of the selected material. It is evaluated in term of books publishing, their provenance, range and character of the artistic text.
